Begin all of your prayers with thankfullness as Jesus did.
Thankful prayers are believing that God is good and alive. That God is doing good in your life, and it's seeking grace. Looking for God, noticing Gods grace and thanking Him for it.
1) Ask God 'what should I pray and thank God for'
2) Pray for other people, and if you're praying for a spouse or job keep praying until it is answered
3) Pray for the needs of others that you are aware of

Gods Favor, Key to finding your spouse....
Proverbs 18.22 "He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD." Exodus 9.11 "The magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils that were on them and on all the Egyptians." WHAT IS FAVOR A gift from God You cannot earn it You don't deserve it Divine favor is the key or cure to any misfortune. Romans 9.16 God that showeth mercy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHSAzGBVh9c A lady wanted to go overseas to study after her third degree. Her parents didn't have the funds for her to go, and she saw it as a bad thing, a thing that got her off track. The favor of God showed up from where she never expected. A Godly young man came into her life brought into her life by God. Divine favor is the key for locating your God ordained spouse. We can provoke divine favor. How do you provoke divine favor? 1) By redemption Psalms 5.12 For though Lord wilt bless the righteous with favor wilt though compass him as with a shield. (kjv) Kingdom building, as you serve God Psalm 102.13 'Though shalt arise, an have mercy upon Zion; for the time to favor her, yea the set time is come." Through your tithes, offerings, serving, Kingdom building you can give to God thanking Him for your family you have not received yet. When you get involved in Kingdom building, God takes interest in your concerns then. 3) Spiritual Understanding Provrebs 13.15 Good understanding giveth favor, but the way of transgressors is hard.

Meditate on Proverbs 31 and allow God to bring the person into your life.

Thanking God in Advance
Thank God in Advance - A Sermon by Joel Osteen.
This is something many Christians have been challenging me on over the last couple of years, and right now I'm in a season of 'refining' and so this is something that is speaking to me. Hopefully my notes can help you as you watch the sermon.
I'm going to talk about thanking God in advance because many people have mentioned it to me recently.. A friend who was thanking the Lord for her future baby for three years before she had them, and other people who have encouraged me in this way.
Being thankful when God has given you the desires of your heart. Did you pray for the leadership position you have now? Did you pray for the mortgage and business and baby you have now? Then be thankful!
Finding a Wife - A Prudent Wife is From the Lord

The need to pray....
I'm going to be conscious and deliberate about praying for others, as well as praying for myself..
and first and foremost I want to pray for Michelle. She is the author of many books Lord and she has definitely touched my heart. I pray Lord that you bring the right man into her life, and let her life be a testimony to everyone about your grace and favor Lord Jesus.
I pray for my friend. I pray for all the non Christians who do not yet know you Jesus, that you are able to help us to get through to them, to spread the gospel, and I pray that I'm able to make an impact on the world.
Lord Jesus I want to pray that you're able to help me to make a difference in the world. Help me encourage others to give, without them seeing me as bossy or judgmental, and help me to have wisdom to know when to speak and when to listen.
Lord the desire of my heart is to be in ministry and work as a photographer, and to be married to somebody who is as committed to You and as committed to me as I am to you and to him Lord Jesus. I long to make a difference in the world, and to have a solid marriage wit somebody honest and true as myself, somebody compassionate and loving.
Lord Jesus I am going to pray for the leaders of the church, I pray that you guide them to make the best decisions for your cause Jesus, and I pray that if it is your will for me to be leading a Bible study that you make a way Lord. I want to pray for my connect group leaders of both groups that I'm in Lord, that you are able to protect them from any spiritual attacks and that you're able to help them to focus on what your will is and their role in leadership.
Lord I pray all these things, and I pray that for the 'salvation list' prayer group that you help the group grow Lord God and help bring the right people into my life that I need to connect with. In Jesus name amen.
